The Challenge
Floating Voices is a zero-carbon, eco-educational barge programme supporting community-led environmental action across Ireland's waterways. The project is ambitious, visionary, and still in development, which meant the website had one primary job: make people believe in it enough to invest.
The client needed something that could communicate the scale and sincerity of the project while attracting serious interest from potential investors and business owners. A basic informational site wouldn't cut it. They needed something that felt genuinely world-class.

The Approach
The brief called for a heavily animated, interaction-driven homepage that could carry the weight of the project's ambition without tipping into novelty. The animations and illustrations needed to feel purposeful and premium, not playful or cartoon-ish.
The site also needed to tell a story, walking visitors through what Floating Voices is, the inspiration behind it, how far the project has come, and what is already happening on the ground. That narrative structure became the backbone of the homepage design.

The Solution
The homepage was built in Webflow with a strong emphasis on motion, illustration, and storytelling. Scroll-driven animations and carefully timed interactions guide the visitor through the project's vision in a way that feels cinematic without sacrificing clarity.
Beyond the homepage, the site includes a blog, a contact page, and integrations for donations via Stripe and an externally hosted online store. Mailchimp was integrated for audience growth, and the full site was written, designed, and built in-house, from copy and SEO through to development and third-party setup.

The Outcome
The finished site positions Floating Voices as a credible, investable project with a clear vision and professional execution. It gives the team a platform they can confidently put in front of potential investors, partners, and supporters, and a digital home worthy of the project it represents.
